EOS Technologies the largest e-commerce and document exchange system in the Middle East completed recently the one million document transaction mark through its system with 100% document accuracy

5th December 2005

EOS Technologies (MENA), the largest operating e-commerce supply chain solution provider in the Middle East announced today that more than one million documents have been processed through the company’s procurement exchange system. This has been achieved with 100% transparency with 100% delivery of all documents.

Since EOS Technologies has made Oman one of the most e-enabled communities in the world (via their local partners OTN), the demand, globally for the company’s solutions have continued to grow within the international Oil & Gas business community, and now with plans to capitalize on the construction and Health sectors. The company has been experiencing a steady increase in the implementation of the procurement exchange process in both government and private sectors across the Middle East region. EOS Technologies is revolutionizing the tender process with its innovative technologies which makes the movement of documents easier, more accessible and cost effective for all those involved.

Alan Livingston, CEO, EOS Technologies said: “we believe that by the end of 2006 the volume of documents which will pass through the procurement exchange system will reach three million and by 2007 it is predicted to exceed 5 million. Our 6000 strong community will also experience growth as we are currently in negotiations with new industries and venturing into new markets in the MENA region.”

One of the main factors behind this unprecedented growth is the flexibility and ease of use of EOS’s system. One of the many documents and services the EOS system boasts is it’s ability to move invoices to a dedicated area on the EOS system whereby the posted tenders are easily accessible to the buyer through our secure exchange. Buyers are unable to view all bids until all suppliers have responded. This gives the decision makers the necessary tools to be able to select the most value-add solutions or services they have tendered for upon the completion of the bidding process, this process also provides a number of levels of protection of the buyer.

EOS Technologies’ Digital Document Exchange (The DDE) reduces time spent, increases efficiency and adds functionality to the purchasing process from beginning to end in comparison to the traditional tender process which is more time consuming and costly without any change to your existing business processes. Registering a company on the exchange takes no longer than 3 minutes and can be easily integrated in all work environments.

The Document Delivery Exchange (DDE) is the latest solution from EOS Technologies, and is the only exchange which can provide 100% trading partner connectivity for a major purchaser.
